Concrete Quality
Assessment
Evaluation of concrete quality, compressive strength and homogeneity using ultrasonic pulse velocity.
The world-first ultrasonic pulse velocity testing instrument for couplant-free on-site quality assessment of concrete structures with up to 2 meters thru-transmission capability.
A compact, ergonomic and easy to handheld ultrasonic pulse velocity tester for quality assessment of concrete compliant with valid international standards.
The instrument is made of light-weight shockproof plastic and operates two dry-point-contact transducer arraysfor through-transmitting up to 2 meters of concrete. Wear resistant wearproof ceramic tips of the transducers are insensitive to the surface condition and allow comfortable and robust operation on site by arbitrary surface condition. Hence, there is no need to apply coupling gel to prepare object surface for testing.
The device possesses non-volatile memory allowing storing of 50.000 measurements(the results can be grouped) and USB port for transferring measured data to the external PC.
Reliable UPV measurements for a wide range of concrete testing tasks
Evaluation of concrete quality, compressive strength and homogeneity using ultrasonic pulse velocity.
Estimation of the depth of surface-opening cracks using indirect UPV methods.
Detection of inhomogeneities, voids and local defects. Comparison of UPV values for condition assessment and monitoring over time.
Use of dry-point-contact (DPC) transducers for reliable measurements on rough, uneven or vertical surfaces without couplant. Ideal for field and on-site testing.
Concrete, stone, masonry, ceramics, wood, plastics, composites and more.
Ergonomic handheld design for easy and fast on-site testing.
Intuitive user interface for efficient testing in the field and in the lab.
Store up to 50,000 measurements (organized in groups) with USB port for data transfer to a PC.
Shockproof design for daily use in harsh environments.
